The Ron Joyce Centre for Business Studies/Commerce Department at Â鶹ÊÓƵ invites applications for a part-time stipendiary appointment to teach a course entitled Comm 3611 - Commercial Law, subject to budgetary approval. The course is an introductory course in commercial law, and topics include general contract law, sale of goods, employment and agency, business associations, and credit transactions. The course is scheduled on Wednesday evenings from 4:30 pm to 7:20 pm in the Fall academic term of 2025. The class size is approximately 60 students.

Although the course is scheduled in person on the Sackville (NB) campus, the possibility of delivering the course in a hybrid format (in-person and online) or synchronously online (fully online on the days/times) may be considered.

Candidates must have experience teaching commercial law at universities or colleges and demonstrate a strong commitment to teaching undergraduate students. A graduate degree in law is preferred.
